Handpumps

Handpumps used to pull clean water from underground. They are installed in areas where families don’t have easy access to clean water, making it easier for them to get safe drinking water close to home. Handpumps are strong, easy to use, and can provide water for many years, helping families stay healthy and reducing the time spent walking long distances to find water.

Water Facilities

In Sindh Pakistan, traditional handpumps are not built due to local conditions. Instead, we provide water facilities connected to taps, wudhu areas, or lavatories, ensuring easy access to clean water. These facilities are built in mountainous and rural areas, where communities often struggle to find proper water sources. By installing these systems, we help families and worshippers access safe water for daily use and religious practices.

Water Wells

A water well is a deep hole dug into the ground to reach clean underground water. Most of our wells are fitted with a handpump system, making it easier for locals to access clean water. It provides a steady supply of safe drinking water for families and communities. These wells are built in areas where people struggle to find clean water, often having to walk long distances to unsafe sources. They can reach upwards of 50 feet deep, ensuring access to fresh water even in dry seasons. A well can serve multiple families, making daily life easier by reducing the time spent collecting water and improving overall health and hygiene.

FAQ's

We estimate that each water project can approximately 4-6 months to complete. This timeline accounts for a thorough site inspection, chemical testing for water purity, obtaining planning permission from local authorities, and then beginning the construction process.

The average life expectancy of a well is around 15+ years and 10 years for handpumps, though this can vary depending on the country and the level of usage.

For every well donated, we provide a detailed completion report that includes:
• The exact location of the well.
• A personal statement from the beneficiary.
• Photographs of the well and its personalised plaque.
• Photographs from each stage of construction.
