1. About these terms

These terms apply to donations made to Social Aid for Common Humanitarian (SACH), registration number 6402, and to your use of sachpk.org. By donating to us or using this website you accept them.

2. How donations are accepted

Donations are accepted by bank transfer into the organisation’s account only. The account details are published on our Donate page. We do not operate any card, Stripe or PayPal payment gateway, and no individual is authorised to collect donations in the organisation’s name into a personal account. If somebody asks you to do so, it is not us.

3. How funds are allocated

A donation given for a stated purpose is applied to that purpose. If the purpose becomes impossible — for example, if a chosen settlement proves to have saline water at every workable depth — we will contact you and either return the amount or agree an alternative use with you.

Where a donation is smaller than the cost of a complete project, it is pooled with other donations until a complete project can be funded. Any small surplus remaining after a project is completed is applied to the next project of the same kind.

4. Zakat

Donations designated as zakat are recorded separately and disbursed only to recipients we assess as eligible. Zakat is not applied to administrative costs of any kind. Please tell us at the time of transfer if your donation is zakat.

5. Plaques and named donations

Where you fund a hand pump, we record the name you supply on the plaque. We reserve the right to decline a name that constitutes a political slogan or an advertisement, or that might place the village in difficulty. Plaques are made from local materials and cannot be guaranteed against weather, accident or subsequent damage.

6. Refunds

If you transfer funds in error, or transfer an incorrect amount, write to us within fourteen days and we will return them, provided the work has not already been commissioned. Once materials have been purchased or boring has commenced, the donation cannot be refunded.

7. Reporting

We aim to send donors photographs of completed work within a reasonable period. Timing depends on weather, the flood season, road access and contractor availability, and a specific date cannot be guaranteed.

8. Website content

The photographs and text on this website belong to SACH. You may reproduce them in order to tell others about our work, with attribution to sachpk.org. Please do not use images of identifiable individuals for any other purpose, commercial or otherwise.

9. Accuracy

We take care to keep the information on this website accurate and current, but figures, costs and project details change over time. Nothing on this website forms a contractual commitment other than these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from them falls within the jurisdiction of the courts at Badin, Sindh.
