Serving Underserved Communities Across Sindh, Pakistan
Clean water, free healthcare and food for the villages that go without.
Across the remote rural areas of Sindh the groundwater is often too salty to drink, the nearest doctor is a bus journey away, and a failed harvest empties the kitchen. Social Aid for Common Humanitarian works village by village to change all three.

A Sindhi organisation, working where the need is greatest.
Social Aid for Common Humanitarian was registered on 16 November 2011 and has served the rural communities of Sindh ever since. We have carried out humanitarian and community-support work in the underserved rural areas of Tharparkar, Sujawal, Mithi and Badin, as well as other underdeveloped villages across the province.
Our office is in Sindh rather than a distant city, and the people who supervise the bores and run the medical camps come from the same communities as the households they serve. That is what allows us to return to a village three years later and confirm that the pump we installed is still producing sweet water, and that the family we supported is standing on its own feet.
Assistance is given on the basis of need alone, without regard to religion, caste, biradari or political affiliation.

Common Questions
Before you give
How can I donate?
By bank transfer to our HBL Badin account. Full details, with copy buttons for the account number and IBAN, are on the Donate page. We do not operate a card, Stripe or PayPal gateway, so nothing is lost to processing fees.
Can I fund a project in someone else’s name?
Yes, and most of our donors do. Send us the name you would like written on the hand pump plaque. Many donors choose the name of a parent or a relative who has passed away.
How will I know my donation was used as promised?
We photograph the completed work and send the photographs to the donor. In the case of a hand pump, the plaque showing the completion date and the village is visible in the picture.
Are you a registered organisation?
Yes. SACH was registered on 16 November 2011 under registration number 6402. The registration details appear in the footer of every page on this website.
Can I visit and see the work for myself?
Yes. Our office is in Badin. Please give us about a week’s notice and we will take you to a project site or to a medical camp.
